MARY
ANN
KIRTLEY
(BAKER)
Mary Ann Kirtley released 2 albums on the Christian Music label in the
1980's.
The albums are out of print and no longer commercially available.
Mary Ann appeared often as a vocal soloist with First Baptist Church
Houston.
She also made special appearances at churches across Texas.
Mary Ann married Steve Baker in 1987, and they now have a
family. They make their home in Georgia.
Mary Ann Baker still sings and serves the Lord in her church.
A MESSAGE FROM MARY ANN (Spring 2010):
" It is hard to fathom anyone remembering
me or anything I did thirty years ago. I often want the Lord to
let me know that He has used me and I am glad to know the the same God
Who can use a donkey - as He did with Balaam - can use me. The
Lord still allows me to sing and I praise Him for that. I do love
and enjoy very much being a wife and mom, too. Our lives can take
many turns that we did not anticipate, and yet we can know that we are
in God's amazing hands and that Jesus has led us all the way (Psalm
139). I cannot imagine that anyone would now want to find the
albums I made and listen to them, (they would be considered antiques in
the music world), but if God still uses them, then I praise Him for
that. "
